Sunday: Drove to NYC.So, long! It was a 6 hour drive. There were a couple of weird people. One person was in silver pickup truck license plate was MBU 5824. He was smiling weirdly at us and waved crookedly at the back seat where us three kids were sitting. Tingting's traumatized. Stayed at Hampton inn for the night. People were drinking beer and wine while watching the soccer world cup, ugh. TERRIBLE VIEW!! Bed plan was Joyce (edge), Tingting (edge), and Elaine (middle) in one bed and since the beds are not meant to hold 3 people, we had to sleep sideways parallel to the foot of the bed, while Mom and Dad were in another. We found a strange pink pill on the armchair. We watched descendants and some of Frozen while eating seaweed, tomatoes, croissant, and Madelines. (Joyce: 1.5, Elaine: 1, and Tingting: 3.5)

Monday: Left Hampton Inn after eating breakfast there. (Tingting: waffle with with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and blueberries, orange juice, oatmeal with dried cranberries, and 1 sausage, Joyce ate biscuit, cereal with milk, and 2 sausages. Left for the airport riding a tram and also an air train (we got off at station 8). The security was like, 2 hours long! Boarded Alaska airlines, and we could not wait to watch T.V, we were so excited! But then, when we boarded we realized there was no TVs at all even though the flight was supposed to have entertainment. It was an incredibly boring flight, and we switched our seating multiple times (we were 22 ABCDE). Joyce cried two times because of some people's lecturing and cause there was no T.V. The airplane ride was 7 hours and Joyce was so scared she would throw up 🤮. They gave us granola bars and biscuits. The mountains were so pretty!!! When we landed JOYCE DID'NT THROW UP! It was raining really hard. After that we ate some food while dad rented out a car for us (The car company was called Thrifty). It was such a long wait. The whole family (mostly dad) was so pissed to figure out that the place we were at was WRONG. We had to take an Uber to the right place. after that, we went to a bunch of shops like Cabela's and Wegmans. After that, we drove to Midnight sun cabin. Was kinda small, but dad said it was better than the one in Banff. Me and mom went upstairs to sleep in separate beds, dad had one bed, and Tingting and Elaine shared a big bed.

Tuesday: Today is the first day of hiking. I had an okay sleep. We ate toasted bread with guacomole. We left at 8:00 🥱. We went see the exit glacier a little closer. It was an easy hike. Dad insisted to join a little hike (with a ranger), but we left halfway. Turns out we have a discount for the sea life center, so we went there. SO MANY ANIMALS 🥹! Tingting's favorite were the Puffins. After that we went back to the cabin and drank hot cocoa while eating dinner. Same bed seating.

Wednesday: We have a boat ride today. It's a day cruise. I bet Tingting will get sea sick ️. Left at 7:20 boat ride at 9:30. Lots of coats.
